At the Feuerstein, the goal is the opposite: as a parent-child hotel, we consciously create space for shared experiences. Parent-child time here means creating, painting, going on treasure hunts and playing football together.

A place, where young workshop masters can hammer, file, grind, solder and create souvenirs to take home – a great experience to share with mum and dad. Is parent-child time included in the stay, or does it need to be booked separately?
Parent-child time is included in the stay and does not need to be paid for separately. Depending on the programme activity, registering on site may be helpful so that we can prepare everything well.
For what age are the wood workshop, art studio, treasure hunt and ball games suitable?
The activities at the Feuerstein are designed according to age and adapted to the children taking part. The treasure hunt is suitable for every age and is prepared depending on the group, for younger or older children.
For ball games, there are different bookable groups for various age levels, so children can take part according to their age and ability. The art studio is accessible from walking age. The wood workshop is especially recommended for children from around 5 years old; from 9 to 10 years old, children may also visit the workshop without being accompanied by their parents.
What happens to outdoor activities such as treasure hunts or ball games in bad weather?
Thanks to the many indoor options, the programme is moved indoors in bad weather. Football, for example, takes place in the Sports Arena instead of on the football pitch, and treasure hunts can also be held indoors. Activities such as ice skating, which cannot simply be moved indoors, are rescheduled for another day.
Are the art studio, wood workshop and other creative rooms open at all times?
The art studio, wood workshop and similar creative rooms are open several times a week as part of parent-child time. As the activities need to be prepared and accompanied by our supervisors, independent use outside the scheduled times is not always possible. Especially in the wood workshop, supervision is important, as children work with real tools and sharp materials.
